I’ve spent most of my life chasing ideas. Some have made me money, some have cost me money, and a few have changed my life. Ideas Lab is where I share the ones I’m currently thinking about – from business and entrepreneurship to travel, technology, education and the future. Not every idea deserves to see the light of day, but every worthwhile adventure starts with curiosity and a willingness to ask, “What if?” Think of this as a playground for possibilities. Take what you find useful, ignore what you don’t, and hopefully leave with an idea of your own.

Years ago I went on the money programme to talk about this topic because every other hospitality entrepreneur wouldn’t – never have I been stopped on the street more often – ‘Good on yer mate!’ So there’s obviously lots of you out there…
