“Homes are our refuge, our rock. Since the invention of the city centre apartment, we’ve never really re-invented it. YO! Home is that new invention. Moving parts draw on a wealth of engineering technology, taken from fields as diverse as yacht and automotive design, to stage production. This allows a 40 square metre space (the size of a one bedroom apartment) to transform into what feels like a much bigger home.

But Robin Rowland, who had been my partner from early on, really did the hardest thing. He took a small group of restaurants and built them into the organisation of quality sites we have today – which allowed me to go on and explore new projects.”
